Ron Barnard - Lead Pastor

About Yourself:
I attended Texas Tech University and Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Graduated with a Bachelor of Theology Degree from Hannibal La-Grange College in Hannibal, MO. In 1982, I was ordained with the Assemblies of God. My ministry began as a youth pastor in Quincy, Illinois and also served as Associate Pastor in Greeley, Colorado. Eight years were spent traveling as an evangelist and 3-4 months out of each year were spent helping to plant new churches in West Africa. I was also a Senior Pastor in Dallas, Texas prior to becoming the pastor of Heritage Church in April, 2001.

About Your Family:
My wife, Kristi, and I have been married for years. We have a son, Carson, and a daughter Mackenzie.

Home State:
Texas. As a preacher’s kid, ‘home’ was Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. It was while living in Oklahoma City that I received my education, so that is why I consider Oklahoma to be home.

Favorite Food:
Mexican (and African)

Hobbies:
Hunting, fishing, traveling, scuba diving, skiing, and spending time with my family.

Memorable Moments:
My birth in Christ, my wedding day, the birth of my children, and the miracles seen while planting churches in Africa.

Favorite Scripture:
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
