God Still Heals

DAY 1

Scripture: Hebrews 13:8; Exodus 15:26

Devotional:

Before we ever ask if God will heal, we have to settle who He is.

In Exodus, God reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha—“the Lord who heals you.” That wasn’t just a moment; it was a declaration of His nature. And God doesn’t change. Hebrews tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

That means the same Jesus who touched lepers, opened blind eyes, and restored broken bodies is still active today. Healing is not just something God did; it’s something He still does because it flows from who He is.

Sometimes doubt creeps in because of what we’ve seen or haven’t seen. But our faith is not built on experience; it’s built on revelation. And the revelation is this: God is still a healer.

Before this week is over, we’re not trying to convince God to heal; we’re aligning our hearts with the truth that He already can and still does.

Reflection Question:

Have I allowed past disappointments to shape my view of God’s ability to heal?

Prayer Focus:

“God, help me see You rightly—as my healer, right now, not just in the past.”

Action Step:

Write down one specific area where you need healing and commit to praying over it daily this week.

Make a fasting plan and start asking God to heal people on Sunday!
